The Role
A2B Australia is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant who excels at delivering accuracy, insights, and impact. This pivotal position within the Finance team involves taking responsibility for general ledger integrity and collaborating closely with stakeholders to provide valuable financial analysis, insights, and recommendations that enhance business performance. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in upholding financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making. Your duties will encompass:
- Leading the review of entity and group-level bank reconciliations.
- Performing monthly balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
- Preparing and reviewing journals and accounting entries for both B2C and group reporting.
- Delivering variance analysis and providing insightful commentary on P&L and balance sheet performance.
- Managing intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
- Supporting statutory reporting, BAS, and GST obligations.
- Partnering with business units to offer financial leadership and commercial insights.
- Assisting with internal and external audits.
- Driving process improvements across reporting, taxation, and treasury functions.
- Collaborating closely with the Billing, Collections, AP, and FP&A teams.
- Serving as a reliable point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders.

About You
You are a detail-oriented finance professional who combines robust technical expertise with a collaborative, business-focused approach. You will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting and a CA/CPA qualification (essential).
- 5+ years of experience in financial accounting or analysis roles.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and influence outcomes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a reputation for reliability and thoroughness.
- A collaborative approach and a strong team mindset.
Technical Skills
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and Dynamic Arrays (desirable).
- Experience using Power BI for analysis and reporting.
