KeyMoves, a market-leading accounting firm in North Sydney, is seeking a highly skilled Business Advisory Senior Manager to join its high-performing practice. This is a significant opportunity for individuals from Big 4, mid-tier, or smaller practices to contribute to a dynamic firm that offers a collegial environment with a strong culture, despite serving a diverse client base ranging from small to medium-sized businesses to large groups.
This role is particularly suited to Business Services Senior Managers seeking further career advancement. You will collaborate with multiple high-performing Partners and a talented peer group. Your work will encompass exciting start-ups through to established household names within the middle market, ensuring continuous challenge and ample opportunity for technical skill development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a client portfolio including High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), trusts, partnerships, and companies, including various family groups.
- Prepare and review complex financial statements.
- Prepare management accounting reports for review.
- Review tax and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns and identify non-compliance issues.
- Manage, delegate to, and develop junior staff.
- Provide complex business advisory services.
- Review job and year-end tax planning advice for clients.
Requirements:
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong strategic understanding of corporate structures, such as trusts, companies, and partnerships.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and professionalism, with the ability to operate within a high-performing environment.
- Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or Business, ideally with a Major in Accounting.
- 5 to 7 years or more of experience working within a boutique, Big 4, or mid-tier accounting firm in Australia.
- Experience in managing and leading junior team members.
