Job Description

Senior NDIS Support Coordinator

West End Support Services – Ballarat

West End Support Services, established in 2017, is a registered NDIS provider owned and operated locally. Founded by Managing Director Debbie Jew, the organisation was built on a genuine passion for delivering personal, participant-first services to individuals living with a disability. We aim to provide tailored supports that empower individuals to live with choice, dignity, and independence. Our vision is that self-determination and active participation not only enrich the lives of those we support but also strengthen families, build community connections, and foster inclusion across society.

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This is a key role for a confident, self-directed practitioner who can independently manage a complex caseload, model best practice, and be a steady source of guidance for the wider coordination team. You will work directly with NDIS participants to build capacity, understand their plans, and connect with appropriate supports and services, while maintaining the accurate, timely records and consistent billable performance that underpin quality coordination. If you thrive in a values-driven organisation and are committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred support, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently coordinate and manage a caseload of NDIS participants, including those with complex or high support needs.
  • Support participants to understand and implement their funded supports in line with their goals, preferences, and budget.
  • Liaise with providers, allied health professionals, LACs, plan managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in line with NDIS requirements.
  • Identify and manage conflict of interest in line with the NDIS Practice Standards, supporting participant choice and control at all times.
  • Assist families and carers experiencing burnout by providing guidance and support.
  • Manage competing priorities, meet key performance indicators, and maintain consistent billable hours.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and support the development of less experienced coordinators where appropriate.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Support Coordinator (3+ years preferred), including a proven ability to manage complex caseloads autonomously.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the NDIS and its impact on people with disability.
  • Strong working knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, including independence and conflict of interest obligations.
  • Strong local knowledge of disability, mainstream, and community services.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple participants effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high-quality report writing.
  • A demonstrated commitment to accurate, timely record-keeping.
  • Sound time management and a proven track record of achieving KPIs and managing billable hours.
  • Confident IT and digital systems skills, including proficiency in (or the ability to quickly learn) our notes and billing platform, MYP (Q-time).
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related qualification.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Why Join West End Support Services?

  • Locally owned and operated with strong community values.
  • A senior role with genuine autonomy and influence.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and ongoing training.
  • A collaborative, supportive work environment.
