Stantec Australia Pty Ltd's Brisbane Structural team is seeking a Senior BIM Modeller. This role is for an individual with demonstrated Revit experience across a range of building projects, including commercial, healthcare, and educational facilities.
You will be an experienced Structural Drafter, adept at managing multiple projects for various large clients. Your responsibilities will include the coordination and documentation of projects under the guidance of Project Engineers. This involves proactively managing deliverables, aligning with project milestones, and adapting to varying requirements when working concurrently on multiple projects.
This position is suited for an experienced professional looking to contribute to a developing team, foster a sustainable business, and deliver innovative, high-quality technical services to clients.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Preparing structural documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Managing and delivering drafting/design building services work packages for Structural projects.
- Executing drafting work within specified timeframes to a professional standard.
- Producing detailed, coordinated structural models and participating in interdisciplinary coordination workshops.
- Providing reliable support to Engineers and Project Engineers in achieving project program, profitability, technical risk management, and overall client satisfaction.
- Coordinating documentation prepared by personnel in our Pune office.
- Collaborating closely with and developing trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhering to professional standards, ethics, and Stantec quality procedures.
- Contributing to the company culture.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Ideally, 5 years of structural Revit experience on building projects.
- Previous experience within an Engineering Consultancy.
- An understanding of BIM techniques utilising Revit and Clash detection software.
- A dedication to ongoing development in Revit/BIM Design Packages, design understanding, and product education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to use initiative and think creatively.
- A qualification in design is a bonus but not a pre-requisite.
