Senior Systems Integration Engineer

Kinexus is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer for a full-time, onsite position in Sydney, NSW. This role is within a prominent Defence program focused on achieving intricate engineering results for naval platforms. You will engage with the complete engineering lifecycle, assisting in the incorporation of sophisticated systems into operational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the integration of engineering modifications into naval platforms.
• Undertake systems engineering and integration tasks for combat and platform systems.
• Perform technical investigations, root cause analysis, and develop solutions.
• Coordinate testing, trials, and verification and validation efforts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, work instructions, and as-built records.
• Offer onsite engineering assistance during installation and production stages.
• Manage problem reports, production variations, and certification processes.
• Liaise with internal teams, Defence stakeholders, and external partners.

Key Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
• Prior experience within Defence, maritime, or complex engineering settings.
• Demonstrated experience in systems integration, engineering change, or production support.
• The capacity to interpret technical drawings and system diagrams.
• Strong communication abilities and the skill to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
