Senior Tax Accountant
ABN Australia is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Sydney NSW. This is a full-time, remote position with a salary of $112,000 – $134,000 per year.

About the role: The Senior Tax Accountant will be instrumental in the preparation and review of financial accounting and compliance services for our clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to quickly become a key contributor to our fast-growing team.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation and review of income tax and FBT returns
- Preparation and review of BAS and IAS
- Support and mentoring of the bookkeeping function and team, including:
- Xero setup and training (including COA)
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts Payable processing
- Accounts receivable processing
- Manual journal entries
- Reconciliations and review
- Payroll calculations, review, and related administration

About you: You will bring a positive, can-do attitude, an entrepreneurial mindset, professionalism, and a customer service focus. You will also possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration/Management (or a related field)
- Current professional Accounting registration (CPA/CA, etc.)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in Australian public-practice tax and accounting
- Outstanding time management skills
- Excellent professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- A strong commitment to customer service, confidentiality, and continuous improvement
