About the Role
With ongoing expansion in project volume, Chalouhi is seeking a Site Engineer to contribute to the execution of various demolition works across the Sydney Metro area. These positions present a notable opportunity to engage with high-profile projects and advance your career within a dynamic and supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide support for daily engineering and site operations.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of demolition, excavation, and enabling works.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Ensure project execution aligns with design, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Manage and maintain technical documentation, including RFIs, ITPs, and as-built records.
- Collaborate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress against construction schedules and assist with cost tracking.
- Conduct site inspections and support the resolution of issues.
- Promote adherence to HSEQ systems and best practices.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process enhancements.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in demolition, excavation, civil construction, or comparable projects.
- Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to demolition, basement, excavation, or infrastructure projects.
- A sound understanding of construction methodologies and standards.
- Proficient problem-solving, communication, and organisational abilities.
- Capacity to interpret technical documentation and manage field-based tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, Aconex, or similar systems is advantageous.
- A White Card and a current driver’s licence.
