HammondCare, an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the lives of older individuals, is seeking Carers for its Home Care team. This opportunity is available on a part-time contract basis within the Coffs Harbour, Nambucca Heads, Urunga Boambee, Toormina, and Bellingen region.

About the Role

This position involves providing essential, practical care to older individuals, enabling them to maintain independence within their homes and significantly improving their quality of life. Responsibilities extend beyond daily care to include fostering meaningful connections and offering companionship. Travel to clients' residences is a requirement, utilising your own vehicle. Remuneration includes $0.99 per kilometre travelled, plus paid travel time.

In exchange for your dedication, we offer:

• An hourly rate of $31.95 to $35.44.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

• Possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Have prior experience in aged or community care, or are keen to commence a career in aged care.
• Hold a valid Driver’s Licence and have access to an insured, reliable vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance).
• Ideally, possess a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. Support is available for those wishing to obtain this qualification.
• Are adaptable to the evolving needs of home care clients.
