HammondCare is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers. As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to enhancing the lives of older individuals in need. HammondCare Home Care has an opening for Carers in the Lake Cathie, North Haven, Dunbogan, and Bonny Hills region, offered on a part-time contract basis.

About the Role This position involves providing essential, practical care to older people, enabling them to maintain independence within their own homes and significantly improving their quality of life. Responsibilities extend beyond daily care to include fostering meaningful connections and offering companionship. Travel to clients' residences is a requirement, utilising your own vehicle. Remuneration includes $0.99 per kilometre travelled, plus paid travel time.

What We Offer In recognition of your skills, we provide:

About You We are looking for individuals who are:

• Personable, patient, and solutions-oriented.
• Possess previous experience in aged or community care, or are seeking to commence a career in aged care.
• Hold a valid Driver's Licence and have access to an insured, reliable car (minimum Third Party Property Insurance).
• Ideally, hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. Assistance is available for those wishing to obtain this qualification.
• Flexible in adapting to the evolving needs of home care clients.
