The Opportunity

An experienced Structural Engineer is sought to join the expanding team, undertaking projects across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This position provides career development prospects and the flexibility for remote structural design work, complemented by on-site inspections and meetings as needed.

About You

The successful applicant will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience as a Structural Design Engineer.
• CPEng and RPEQ qualifications, or active pursuit of these.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of structural design and documentation for reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and modelling software, including ClearCalcs, ETABS, Wallap, and Structural Toolkit.
• Expert knowledge of relevant Australian Standards: AS1170, AS3600, AS3700, AS1720, AS4100, AS2870, and the National Construction Code (NCC).
• A White Card.
• A current Queensland Driver Licence, or the ability to obtain one.
• Full Australian working rights.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, analyse, and document structural engineering projects.
• Prepare structural calculations and engineering documentation.
• Perform structural modelling utilising industry-standard software.
• Resolve technical design and construction queries.
• Attend site inspections across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
• Respond to RFIs and prepare engineering reports.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers.
• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions for clients.
