Lutheran Services is seeking a Home Care Support Worker to assist clients in living safely, independently, and with dignity within their own residences. This role offers an opportunity to build meaningful connections and provide care.

Role Details:

• Location: Based in Caboolture, with services extending to surrounding areas including Buderim.
• Type: Casual position.
• Hours: 20 hours per fortnight.
• Availability: Required across weekdays and weekends (preferred).
• Remuneration: $41.23 – $45.31 per hour (inclusive of a 25% casual loading), plus Superannuation, Salary Packaging, and Benefits.

About the Role: As a Home Care Support Worker, you will deliver personalised in-home support to aged care clients, aiding them in maintaining their independence and quality of life within the community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centred care aligned with each client's goals and preferences.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and grooming.
• Support daily living activities including meal preparation, light cleaning, and shopping.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community events.
• Foster client independence, confidence, and social engagement.
• Collaborate with case managers and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and prompt documentation.

Requirements:

• Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in home care or aged care settings.
• A compassionate, respectful, and client-focused approach.
• Proficiency in communication and relationship-building.
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and a National Police Check.
