About the Role As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities and young people by delivering tailored, person-centred support. Your contributions will extend to assisting with daily living, providing emotional guidance, and facilitating community engagement, all contributing to a more inclusive and compassionate society.

This role operates on a 24/7 rotating roster, which includes sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young people.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development.
• Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support.
• Support community participation and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans.
• Advocate for customer rights and promote independence.
• Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs.

What You’ll Need

• Experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services.
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• A valid Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle.
• An NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
• Availability for 24/7 rostered shifts.
