Kanda is seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to deliver person-centred support within Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and to community access clients in the southern suburbs of Adelaide. You will be part of a dedicated team, assisting participants with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation, with a focus on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality support within SIL environments and the community.
• Assist with personal care, transfers, manual handling, continence support, and catheter care.
• Support participants with daily living tasks and community participation as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Respond professionally to changing support needs and situations.
• Promote participant choice, independence, and individual goals at all times.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid P2 or Open Driver's Licence.
• Possess a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Hold or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• Be comfortable providing personal care and manual handling support.
• Be available to work a combination of day, evening, and overnight passive shifts.
