Are you a dedicated Support Worker looking to contribute to a vibrant and active individual's life? One2One is seeking individuals to support a young woman in her mid-20s who leads a dynamic lifestyle. This role is based in Greenfields, requiring proximity to the area or a willingness to travel.

The individual enjoys karaoke, fitness activities including the gym and karate, and yoga. She is actively involved in her community through volunteering and cherishes her connections with family and her dog, Lucy. Routine and consistency are important for her well-being, and she seeks a support worker who can maintain stability while introducing positive elements.

• Motivating Presence: Capacity to encourage and energise the individual, particularly during fitness or leisure activities.

Desirable Experience:

• Working in environments that require self- or co-regulation.
• Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies.

Role Responsibilities and Hours:

The role involves providing support through 24-hour shifts and 6 x 4-hour community support shifts per week. The support model operates 7 days a week.

• Standard Weekly Schedule:
• Monday: 24-hour shift and 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM shift
• Tuesday: 24-hour shift and 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM shift
• Wednesday: 24-hour shift and 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM shift
• Thursday: 24-hour shift and 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM shift
• Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM shift
• Sunday: 24-hour shift and 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM shift

• Monthly Schedule (Once a month):
• Friday: 24-hour shift and 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM shift
• Saturday: 24-hour shift and 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM shift

The role requires the capacity to cover roster gaps due to colleagues' illness or leave.

Essential Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Current First Aid certificate (completed within 3 years), or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening.
