My Place is a values-based organisation supporting individuals with disability to achieve their chosen lifestyles and employ their own support staff.
I am a 29-year-old woman residing in my home in the Margaret River area. I am seeking an experienced female support worker who is motivated and suitable for my life and home.
About the Role: My family and I are looking for an individual who is patient, respectful, and capable of supporting my dignity. Assistance is required with basic personal care, outings, household tasks, and developing creative communication methods.
Given my delayed information processing and challenges with task initiation, experience in behaviour support would be beneficial. The successful applicant will also support my flower micro business and assist me in remaining active and connected within the community.
A love for music and art, along with experience in seizure management, is ideally sought. However, training will be provided for individuals demonstrating the right values and attitude.
Requirements: Applicants must possess a driver's licence and their own vehicle, or have reliable transport to and from my home. Completion of the NDIS Worker Screening process and relevant NDIS Worker Orientation Modules is mandatory. Applicants must also be willing to undergo a medical assessment.
