Are you the individual I am seeking? I am Eamon, a 30-year-old who enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors on my tandem bike with my dog, hosting gatherings, swimming, and sailing. I appreciate the sounds of birds, participate in wheelchair football, and am involved in my local community. I am passionate about sharing my story and teaching others through work opportunities. I identify as a loving son, brother, and uncle, a caring friend, and an adrenaline junkie.

I am currently looking for individuals to join my team and work with me in my home, sharing in adventures. I am seeking people who demonstrate the following qualities:

It will be essential that you are willing to go sailing, take me swimming in a hydrotherapy pool, and be willing to learn to ride my bike with me.

• Commencement as a casual with set shifts, with the option to transition to Permanent Part-time through Shared Management with MyPlace.

• Guidance from a team facilitator and family as you learn, with space provided for reflection.

Details:

• The role is located in Willagee. Applicants must reside within a 30-minute distance.
• Requirements for the role include:
• NDIS worker screening before commencement (guidance will be provided on how to obtain this).
• Unrestricted driver’s license.
• Senior first aid certificate within the first 2 months of employment.
• Covid vaccination/booster and current flu vaccination.

Training will be provided for the tasks required, so previous experience is not essential. This role is queer, hearing impaired, and neurodiverse friendly.
