Wongaburra Society is a community-based not-for-profit organisation delivering residential aged care and home care services to Beaudesert and surrounding regions. We are seeking Casual Carers/Support Workers for our Home Care team.

About the Role: Home Care Support Workers assist and encourage elderly clients to maintain independence and improve their daily quality of life. This involves providing:

• One-on-one in-home personal care
• Domestic assistance
• Support for lifestyle and social activities
• Medication assistance (where qualified)

Support Workers foster trusting and meaningful relationships to ensure clients feel safe and valued.

About You: We prioritise personal qualities that benefit the role and our team, including:

• Demonstrated care, empathy, compassion, patience, and understanding.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications and Certificates:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or similar/equivalent qualification)
• Current open QLD driver's licence
• National Police Certificate
• Evidence of eligibility and the right to work in Australia
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates
• Medication Competency certificate (desirable)
