Technical Field Engineer | Unisys | Rhodes, Australia
Unisys seeks a full-time, onsite Technical Field Engineer to join our team in Rhodes.
Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and servicing computer-related products, including desktop and laptop computers. You will also conduct break-fix repairs and software installations, and perform in-warranty repairs for a major multinational vendor. Access to accredited training from this vendor will be provided. Ideally, candidates will possess an IT background or a solid understanding of IT concepts. This position supports users across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing activities related to installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and servicing computer-related products.
- Conducting break-fix and software installations.
- Executing in-warranty repairs.
- Troubleshooting and accurately documenting all incidents and problems.
- Working towards achieving team-wide service levels for product support and issue resolution.
- Providing an excellent level of customer service.
What You Will Bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- High-level technical proficiency in the service of client products.
- Knowledge of iOS and MS software, configuration, and installation.
- Multiple years of experience.
- Demonstrated strong customer service focus.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to build client relationships.
- Clear communication skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and follow processes.
- Maintenance of a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor, and dress.
- Understanding of KPIs and Service Level Agreements.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on client requirements.
- Generally, 1-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or PR holder.
