Atom Resources is seeking a skilled Tekla Drafter for a full-time, onsite position in North Sydney.

This role involves detailed structural steel and reinforced concrete (rebar) modelling and documentation within a leading structural engineering and delivery team. You will contribute to major Tier 1 commercial and infrastructure projects, including high-rise towers, hospitals, commercial developments, and data centres.

Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed Tekla Structures models and documentation for structural steel and reinforced concrete packages.
• Prepare fabrication and shop drawings for structural steel and rebar.
• Coordinate closely with structural engineers, BIM teams, builders, and fabricators.
• Deliver accurate and buildable models in accordance with Australian Standards and project requirements.
• Assist with clash detection, coordination reviews, and model QA/QC.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination across complex Tier 1 projects.
• Mentor junior drafters/detailers where required.

Project Experience:

• Multi-storey high-rise towers.
• Commercial developments.
• Hospitals / healthcare projects.
• Data centres.
• Large-scale mixed-use developments.
• Tier 1 or major contractor/consultancy projects.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 7–8 years’ experience in structural drafting/detailing.
• Strong hands-on experience using Tekla Structures.
• Proven experience in both structural steel and reinforced concrete (rebar) detailing.
• Strong understanding of buildability, fabrication, and construction methodologies.
• Experience working on complex large-scale projects.
• Ability to work within fast-paced project delivery environments.
• Experience coordinating with engineers, BIM teams, and fabricators.
• Revit experience is highly regarded.
