We partner with leading landscapers and builders nationwide, implementing concrete and park furniture solutions for schools and communities. To support our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsman for a short-term engagement.

Role Overview: We require a Draftsman for an immediate start to join our team. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, assisting with accurate drafting tasks and preparing project estimates for construction plans and shop drawings. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in drafting, construction management, and estimating across a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support drafting and design tasks for project plans and blueprints using Bluebeam and CAD software.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for projects, encompassing materials, labour, and time.
  • Review and analyse project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and contractors to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations and construction standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of drafting principles and construction estimating.
  • Proficiency in drafting software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A desire to learn and develop within the construction industry.
