Wickham Freight Lines is seeking a driven candidate to join our experienced and busy administration team at our Sydney Terminal in Arndell Park. This role offers an excellent opportunity to commence a career in the Transport and Logistics sector, develop customer service expertise, and acquire administration skills. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will undertake a range of administration tasks, including:
- Handling, responding to, and distributing incoming phone calls, emails, and mail.
- Collecting and collating returned paperwork.
- Maintaining effective communication channels with customers and other team members.
- Liaising with head office team members for the entry of all freight jobs.
- Liaising with drivers and subcontractors to ensure paperwork accuracy.
- Producing and verifying all relevant paperwork for freight collections and deliveries.
- Utilising the transport management system for consignment, delivery, and pickup allocations.
- Maintaining records for miscellaneous activities such as transhipping and storage.
- Assisting with accurate pallet management.
- Liaising with the Office Supervisor to facilitate the efficient transfer of information and documents between the Sydney Terminal and Interstate Terminals.
- Performing general office duties.
