The Integrated Medicine, Emergency, Child and Youth Services (IMECYS) delivers a broad range of acute, specialist, and community-based health services across Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. About Your Opportunity:
In this role, you will:
- Drive business practice improvement across all business systems and associated work practices, utilising continuous improvement strategies to achieve best practice and reduce variation across services.
- Assist with workforce development and human resource activities, including the revision of Position Descriptions and recruitment processes for portfolio administration staff, in consultation with the appropriate clinical area.
- Represent the services on various committees and working parties, as determined by the Director of the Service.
- Provide high-level administration advice and support on human resource management, industrial relations, and workforce change management.
- Manage portfolio responsibilities associated with the use of enterprise and non-enterprise business information systems, including auditing system use and compliance, monitoring and improving data quality; and identifying opportunities for system improvements across the Directorates.
