Maxima Group Training is seeking an individual for a Business Medical Traineeship opportunity within the Emergency Department of Calvary Adelaide Hospital. This full-time, onsite position offers a gateway into a business medical career, providing a free, nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.

The Role: As an Emergency Department - Business Administration Trainee, you will operate in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support throughout an 18-month full-time traineeship. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and visitors.
- Managing and maintaining patient records.
- Answering incoming telephone calls on a busy switchboard.
- Processing patient admissions and discharges.
- Completing health fund checks.
- Performing data entry, scanning, and filing as required.
- Assisting patients with directions.
About You: To be successful in this traineeship, you will require:

- The capacity to remain calm when working under pressure.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Role Requirements:
- Ability to work rostered shifts between 6:30 am and 9:00 pm.
- Fully immunised according to the childhood and adult vaccination schedule.
- Current Police and WWC clearances (or willingness to obtain them).
- Strong computer and typing skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Previous administration or customer service experience is desirable.
