Administration Assistant
Bowhill Engineering is seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to join our team at our Bowhill location. This onsite role offers an opportunity to support our Administration, Human Resources (HR), and Workplace Health, Safety, and Environment (WHSE) functions.
We are looking for organised, capable, and proactive individuals. Your background may be in administration, human resources, or workplace health and safety, or a combination thereof. The essential requirement is your ability to maintain organisation, support our personnel, and contribute to efficient business operations.
This position encompasses responsibilities across Administration, HR, and WHSE, which will be aligned with the successful applicant's existing skills and experience. About the Role As part of our team, you will provide administrative and operational support across various business functions. Depending on your qualifications and interests, duties may involve:
- Administration Support:
- Managing reception and general office tasks.
- Coordinating calendars and appointments.
- Preparing documents and maintaining records.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the business.
- Planning, preparing, and coordinating employee and visitor engagement activities and events.
- Human Resources Support:
- Assisting with and providing backup for payroll processing.
- Coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Administering employee records.
- Coordinating performance appraisals.
- Supporting employee recognition and wellbeing initiatives.
- WHSE Support:
- Maintaining safety and compliance records.
- Coordinating training and inductions.
- Supporting audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Assisting with incident reporting and investigations.
- Administering return-to-work and rehabilitation processes.
Comprehensive training and support will be provided. The scope of these roles may adapt based on the successful candidate's strengths and career aspirations.
