Priag Marketing Pty. Limited, located in Narrabri, Northern New South Wales, supports growers with the marketing of grains, legumes, oilseeds, and cotton. The company also provides winter and summer crop insurance and manages privately owned and leased farms across the Narrabri and Moree shires.
This part-time, onsite position in Narrabri, NSW, is suited for an individual who enjoys administrative tasks and seeks a career within an agriculturally focused business. The role offers on-the-job training for all aspects, though familiarity with administration and MYOB is required. An understanding of the agricultural industry would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration:
- Enter commodity contracts into relevant systems and spreadsheets.
- Monitor and complete deliveries against contracts as needed.
- Generate and record invoice payments.
- Maintain client and buyer databases and relevant business statistics.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly market reports, and other data monitoring when required.
- Support administrative processes for the farming enterprise when required, including:
- Entering grain execution and delivery reports.
- Coordinating and recording contract execution.
- Reconciling payments and freight invoices.
- Filing paperwork.
- Manage office inventory.
- Accounts Support: Provide support to the business administration and accounts department, including:
- Manage the business asset register and monitor business overhead expenses.
- Conduct NHVR mass and maintenance data entry.
- Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable into MYOB.
- Follow up on overdue debtors.
About You:
- A qualification in administration and/or a business-related field is preferred but not essential.
- A minimum of three years of administration and/or accounting experience is required.
- Skills within the Microsoft suite are desirable; Excel and Outlook are a must. Experience with MYOB is also desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, organisation skills, and confidentiality are a must.
- Ability to follow instructions, be proactive, innovative, and work both individually and as part of a team, possessing a positive mindset.
- Flexibility with work days and hours may be provided for the right applicant.
