About the Role This is a dynamic and fast-paced role supporting the building approval process through accurate and efficient administration. The role involves working closely with certifiers, clients, and government bodies to ensure the smooth and timely progression of applications and inspections.
Key Responsibilities Your day-to-day tasks may include:
- Lodging applications, inspection documents, and details into internal software.
- Liaising with local councils and government departments to process searches and minor applications.
- Checking and verifying certificates and inspection notices for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinating and issuing final certificates once all inspections and documents are complete.
- Managing inspection bookings and scheduling to ensure efficiency.
- Providing general advice and support to clients throughout the application process.
- Maintaining positive, professional relationships with clients and team members.
About You
- Possess a strong work ethic and be reliable.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Have an exceptional phone manner and customer service skills.
- Be able to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
- Exhibit a professional, positive, and approachable communication style.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in the construction or building industry is an advantage but not essential.
