Country and Outback Health is a not-for-profit organisation committed to fostering healthier and happier communities. We deliver a broad spectrum of services including mental health, allied health, addiction support, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, NDIS services, and support for young people through our headspace centres.
The Administration Officer is a key member of the wider administration team at CObH, providing dedicated administrative assistance to our regional teams. This role is suited for an individual seeking a varied position, who is a self-starter, highly organised, and possesses excellent customer service skills.
About the role: This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months, commencing on July 26. The working hours are Monday to Friday, totalling 75 hours per fortnight. The role is based in Port Augusta.
The Administration Officer will be responsible for delivering a range of administrative support that contributes to the successful delivery of various health programs, services, and site activities. As the initial point of contact, this role significantly influences the client experience.
About You:
- Experience in healthcare administration is required; experience in mental health or allied health is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities within a demanding and diverse environment.
- Capacity to collaborate and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Exceptional client communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive and helpful demeanour, even when faced with challenging circumstances.
- Proficiency in maintaining meticulous records with precision and attention to detail.
