Administration Officer - Sport and Aquatic Centre

U@MQ is seeking a full-time Administration Officer for its Sport and Aquatic Centre, located onsite at the Wallumattagal Campus in North Ryde, Dharug land. This permanent position involves 38 hours per week.

The Administration Officer will be an integral part of the centre's administrative team, supporting operations and contributing to an exceptional member and visitor experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Address member inquiries and complaints concerning memberships, billing, government vouchers, and health fund receipts.
  • Process financial transactions with a focus on currency, compliance, and accuracy.
  • Report on membership data, venue utilisation, and visitation statistics.
  • Contribute to the improvement of administrative processes and participate in projects.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, including uniforms and stationery.
  • Provide confidential support to the MUSAC team as needed.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in an administration or customer service capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, with the ability to interpret large datasets for business decision-making.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Envibe CRM is highly regarded.

This role requires a criminal history check, and a First Aid and CPR certificate.

Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) is a multi-purpose venue catering to the health, fitness, and sporting needs of members and guests. Facilities include a 6-lane heated indoor pool and an 8-lane outdoor heated Olympic-sized swimming pool, a fully equipped health club, group fitness classes, squash courts, and gymnastics/aquatics programs. Macquarie University Sport Fields operate seven days a week, featuring five professional playing fields with stadium lighting, a canteen, BBQ areas, and change rooms.
