Administration & Stores Officer
Main HR Consulting is seeking a full-time Administration & Stores Officer for an onsite role in Tullamarine.
This position offers a varied workload for an individual who takes pride in being both hands-on and highly organised. The Role:
- General office and reception duties, including managing office traffic and incoming calls.
- Ordering stationery, amenities, and uniforms.
- Performing general administrative functions such as coordinating meetings, taking minutes, preparing agendas, and arranging travel.
- Administering the maintenance of equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and mechanics' vehicles.
- Assisting in the preparation and organisation of documents for audits and compliance.
- Raising purchase orders and processing receipts.
- Organising freight deliveries Australia-wide to client sites.
- Organising site inductions for field personnel.
- Processing and authorising timesheets as backup for the Service Coordinator for submission to Payroll.
- Supporting the Service Coordinator with job costing, invoicing, and scheduling.
- Submitting client invoices and other documentation into client portals.
Workshop Duties:
- Maintaining cleanliness within the workshop area.
- Stock control to ensure availability of items, including the quarantine bench.
- Completing gas counts and managing cylinders.
- Picking up and delivering parts to mechanics.
- Manual handling of freight, weighing between 1kg and 10kg.
- Unloading and loading trucks using forklifts.
Skills Required:
- Driver's licence.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Microsoft Office computer skills, specifically for receipting items and raising purchase orders.
- General workshop warehouse experience, including maintenance and forklift operation (would be an advantage).
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work with different cultures.
- A "Can Do" attitude.
Note: A Forklift Licence is desirable; training will be provided, and licence costs will be covered.
