Administrative Assistant
Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is seeking an Administrative Assistant for its Brisbane Real Estate practice. This is a permanent, full-time, onsite role.
In this position, you will provide essential administrative support to a high-performing team of lawyers. You will receive mentorship from Legal Assistants within the group. The role offers variety in daily tasks, opportunities to build relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders, and learning and development opportunities for career progression. This role operates Monday to Friday and is 100% office-based.
What you’ll do As an Administrative Assistant, you will perform a broad range of administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
- Supporting with diary management, which involves scheduling team and client meetings, and booking internal meeting rooms and external locations, such as restaurants.
- Document management, assisting with the creation and editing of documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Hard copy document management, including printing, scanning, photocopying, archiving tasks, and managing incoming mail.
- Financial management, which includes reconciling expenses and assisting Legal Assistants with client billing.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in an administration role.
- A committed and reliable work ethic, demonstrating enthusiasm and proactivity in the workplace.
- A professional approach, exhibited in your written and verbal communication style.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to remain organised while managing competing priorities.
- A customer service approach, ideally exhibited through previous experience in a retail or hospitality role.
- An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
