Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Motorcycling Queensland (MQ), the governing body for motorcycle sport and recreation in Queensland, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. This position is based at our Ipswich office, and you will be joining a small and friendly team.

This role is essential for the smooth operation of our office, providing excellent customer service, and managing administrative tasks related to motorcycling events, memberships, and Ridernet administration. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and a willingness to engage with a variety of key stakeholders.

While experience in the sports industry or motorcycle events is not essential, it would be an advantage. Full support and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management: Handle phone and email inquiries, assist visitors, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ridernet Administration: Manage memberships, event entries, and general administration to ensure compliance with Motorcycling Australia and Motorcycling Queensland requirements.
  • Event & Membership Support: Assist with event licencing, permits, participant registration, and official accreditations.
  • General Administration: Maintain accurate records, process invoices, and provide administrative support to staff and clubs.
  • Communication & Liaison: Coordinate with clubs, officials, and members to assist with inquiries and administrative needs.
  • Injury & Incident Reporting: Ensure accurate reporting of injuries and incidents through Ridernet and assist with follow-up processes.
  • Compliance & Checks: Manage and verify Working with Children Checks (Blue Cards), official accreditations, and first aid certifications for event personnel.
