About the Role: The Administrative Officer will provide confidential secretarial, reception, and administrative services to the Women’s and Children’s Health Network. These casual positions operate on a weekly rotation roster, with varied shift times across clinical areas and the Administrative Services Unit within the Health Network. Contracts are available for up to 12 months.
Key Duties:
- Deliver effective and efficient administrative and reception services.
- Provide an efficient, fair, and equitable patient-focused booking service.
- Assist with the provision of an efficient and effective record management service.
- Support and actively participate in fostering a positive culture and safe work environment within the department.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in providing confidential reception, secretarial, and administrative support.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically with a diverse range of people in a courteous and polite manner.
- Working knowledge of office and administrative procedures and systems, including competent keyboard and data entry skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail.
