Administrative Officer – Placements
Chisholm Institute is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our Placement Team within Education Operations.

About the Role
As an Administrative Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level administration and placement process support to students, hosts, and the teaching department.
- Supporting the student experience to improve early engagement and assist learners in interacting with their academic and social environment to prevent attrition and encourage success.
- Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment that meets the needs of diverse student cohorts.
- Communicating resources and information for students engaged in qualifications requiring placement through in-classroom presentations, online sessions, and electronic communication.
- Following up with placement coordinators on any student identified through placement practice processes as a potential cause for concern regarding attendance and behaviour.
- Assisting students operationally to complete their placement successfully and in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, regulatory standards, government requirements, and Institute quality processes and policies.
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to build rapport and display conflict negotiation skills.
Qualifications Required
- Certificate III in Business or Business Administration, or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant experience.
