AGnVET Services Group is seeking an experienced leader to manage Darling Irrigation branches located in Latrobe, Launceston, and Scottsdale. This full-time, onsite role based in Launceston reports to the Business Unit Manager – Water. The position focuses on driving commercial performance and operational excellence while cultivating a strong customer-focused and safety-first culture.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading regional strategy and executing branch business plans to achieve sales, margin, and profit targets.
• Identifying and converting growth opportunities across key markets and customer segments.
• Coaching and developing Branch Managers, Operations Managers, Service, and Sales teams to achieve high performance.
• Strengthening key customer and supplier relationships and elevating service standards.
• Overseeing inventory, pricing, forecasting, and working capital to optimise performance.
• Championing safety leadership and ensuring WHS compliance across multiple sites.
• Driving continuous improvement and best practice across the region.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven success in multi-site leadership within agriculture, irrigation, or a related industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales, margin, and profit growth.
• Extensive experience in people leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Capability in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong relationship management skills with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Experience managing inventory, debtors, and operational performance.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and organisational skills.
• A commitment to safety leadership and fostering a “Safety First, All Day Every Day” culture.
