Carhartt WIP originated in the early 1990s as a licensee and European distributor for the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt. The brand has since evolved to develop its own collections, drawing inspiration from original workwear designs. Over the last twenty years, the brand has grown organically with its customer base, the surrounding culture, and the employees who have contributed to shaping Carhartt WIP.

We are seeking a Stock Lead / Retail Supervisor for a full-time position, working 5 days per week at our Carhartt WIP the Galeries Flagship store. This is a hybrid role requiring confidence in managing both front and back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for all stock operations.
• Accurately manage stock movements, including deliveries, restocks, and floor replenishment.
• Maintain organised and tidy backroom areas.
• Conduct rolling stocktakes and implement loss prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with management to ensure adequate and precise stock levels.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, prioritising customer experience and building genuine rapport.
• Adapt brand stores to the retail environment.
• Process sales transactions.
• Ensure adherence to all operational store policies and procedures.
• Uphold outstanding store condition and the company's visual merchandising standards.

Requirements:

• Experience within a stockroom and on the shop floor in a premium retail environment.
• Leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• High attention to detail.
• Customer service orientation.
• Commercial awareness.
• Good IT skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Enthusiasm for fashion.

The candidate must be Sydney-based, as this is an on-site role.
