• Cargo Operator: You will oversee the movement and retrieval of the Army's vital equipment and supplies, operating across air, land, or sea. Without your efforts, these goods would not be transported effectively, and unlike typical office roles, your daily work environment will vary, involving different vehicles.
• Driver: You will hold a key position in the operation and management of advanced military vehicles in diverse conditions and across various terrains. Your responsibilities will include the transportation of cargo, personnel, and hazardous materials to support training and operations both within Australia and internationally.
• Fuel Specialist: You will be responsible for the management, distribution, and storage of fuel products, as well as conducting refuelling operations. This role involves working on military bases, during exercises, and on deployments, potentially taking you across Australia and overseas.
• Marine Specialist: You will operate a range of high-performance vessels within the Army for military operations and disaster relief efforts. You will be integral to the Army's distribution network, with daily tasks including planning the movements of personnel, supplies, and equipment, and ensuring their safe delivery by water.
• Warehouse Coordinator: You will manage supply and distribution processes, ensuring essential military equipment is delivered to its required locations. Whether in barracks, on exercise, in the field, or on operations, you will be responsible for equipping soldiers with their needs.

Location Details: Following your initial military and employment training, you may be assigned to one of the many Army bases and units throughout Australia. The majority of these positions are situated in North Queensland, South Queensland, and the Northern Territory.

Salary Information: Upon commencing your training, your initial salary will be approximately $60,517 per annum, plus 16.4% superannuation. Your remuneration will increase as you progress through your training. Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, your package will commence between $82,322 and $86,453 per annum, varying by role.

Eligibility Requirements: To be considered for these roles, you must:

• Be at least 17 years of age at the time of enlistment.
• Be an Australian Citizen.
• Have successfully completed an Australian Year 10 education (or an equivalent standard), with passes in English and Mathematics.
• If you are not an Australian Citizen, please consult the ADF Careers Eligibility Page to verify your qualifications for an ADF career.
• Cargo Operator: Possess a provisional or full driver’s licence.
• Driver: Hold at least a current learner’s licence and a current provisional/probationary driver’s licence at the time of enlistment.
• Fuel Specialist: Hold at least a current learner’s licence and a current provisional/probationary driver’s licence at the time of enlistment.
• Be in a reasonable state of physical fitness. Maintaining fitness is a significant aspect of joining the ADF. You will need to pass a physical fitness test prior to enlistment; guidance will be provided to assist with your preparation.
• Be able to successfully obtain a security clearance.
