Swift Transport Services (Southern) Pty Ltd, located in Dandenong South, specialises in same-day taxi truck and courier services across Melbourne and regional Victoria. We are seeking a motivated Despatch/Warehouse Assistant to join our operations team. This role operates within a fast-paced environment, focusing on delivering excellent customer service and supporting warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling high volumes of delivery bookings and customer phone calls.
• Communicating with customers.
• Assisting Fleet Controllers with dispatching work to drivers and conducting follow-ups.
• Providing warehouse support, including order picking, container unloading, and other directed tasks, such as data entry.
• Organising paperwork, Proof of Delivery (PODs), and driver-related administration.
• Opportunity to gain experience in Fleet Controlling for both courier and taxi truck channels.

Requirements:

• A current forklift licence is a requirement for this role.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is required.
• High reach experience is advantageous.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

• Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus superannuation.
