About the Role
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee the sales floor and enhance team capabilities. Your responsibilities will include direct customer engagement, alongside coaching, motivating, and guiding the team to achieve outstanding results and customer experiences daily.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading on the store floor, engaging directly with customers and influencing their home styling decisions.
- Coaching and supporting Sales Team Members to build confidence, product knowledge, and sales proficiency.
- Contributing to store performance through the establishment of clear targets, daily focus, and strong customer outcomes.
- Partnering with the Store Manager in managing priorities, scheduling, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations.
- Upholding high standards of visual merchandising and maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment.
- Utilising in-store systems to support the sales process and customer follow-up.
