The Executive Director of Schools for the Diocese of Wollongong is seeking applications from experienced leaders for the Assistant Principal role at St Columbkille's Catholic Parish Primary School, Corrimal. This position is scheduled to commence at the start of the 2027 school year.

Essential Criteria To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to:

- Cultivate a learning culture of shared responsibility for quality teaching and student learning growth, informed by data.
- Build capacity through personal professional development and by supporting staff through access to effective continual professional learning opportunities, providing regular feedback, and managing performance.
- Act strategically to drive school improvement initiatives that align with the school’s vision and strategic plan.
- Ensure school processes comply with system, NESA, and legislative requirements.
- Develop and maintain positive partnerships with students, families, carers, the local church, and the wider school community.
Qualifications
- Current accreditation to teach with NESA.
- Post-graduate study in a relevant discipline (or progress towards completion).
- Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School (Category E), as per the ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’ policy (or a commitment to obtain this within a five-year period).
Working With Children Clearance This role involves child-related work. A working with children clearance must be obtained prior to commencement.
