About the Role Reporting to the Retail Manager at our Brunswick location, the Assistant Retail Manager will take the lead of our Retail Operations Team. This team is tasked with ensuring that Savers customers and donors consistently receive exceptional customer service.
A typical day may involve:
- Managing the daily operations of the sales floor within a large-format retail setting.
- Providing leadership and supervision to a team of up to 12 team members during a shift.
- Identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and applying creative strategies to boost store sales and profitability.
- Demonstrating and embodying outstanding customer service by interacting with our valued customers and donors.
- Welcoming and training new team members, supporting their success and development in their roles.
About You To be successful in this role, you will possess a combination of the following:
- Availability for full-time hours on a roster that includes Monday to Sunday, operating on a flexible rotating schedule.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment. This could include previous work in retail, production, warehousing, hospitality, or other customer-facing industries.
- Strong communication and coaching abilities, with a proven capacity to empower and motivate your team towards achieving their objectives.
