Peter Alexander is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Bowral location. This role involves supporting the Store Manager in delivering an excellent experience for both staff and customers. Responsibilities include driving sales, fostering a positive store environment, and ensuring efficient operations, all while promoting happiness, creativity, and luxury.

This is a full-time position requiring availability for weekends, late-night trading hours, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and maintaining a customer-focused store atmosphere.
• Assist in training and developing team members to improve their performance and growth.
• Contribute to stock control, visual merchandising, and maintaining an organised and welcoming store.
• Help foster a positive and motivating team environment.
• Assist in managing rosters to ensure adequate staffing during peak trading periods.

Requirements:

• Retail experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• A passion for fashion and delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to support sales targets and KPIs and assist the team in achieving success.
• Visual merchandising experience is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a high stock volume business is a bonus.
• Strong organisational skills and the capacity to multitask.
