R.M. Williams Pty Ltd is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Hornsby location. This full-time, onsite position will involve supporting the Store Manager in fostering a positive and inclusive team environment, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and guiding the team towards achieving sales objectives.

The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in fashion retail and currently hold a 2IC or 3IC role. Flexibility in working hours is required, including the ability to work a rotating fortnightly roster that encompasses weekends.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Store Manager include:

• Providing customer care by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, offering product knowledge, advice, and brand history, and ensuring customers depart with a positive experience.
• Engaging in active selling and cultivating relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Overseeing and contributing to sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Assisting with staff management, including training on product knowledge and motivating the team to meet sales targets.
• Supporting staff inductions and performance appraisals.
• Contributing to store operations, including Visual Merchandising, Rostering, and Inventory control.
• Assisting the Store Manager with administrative tasks as needed.

Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a 2IC or 3IC within a fashion or footwear retail setting.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and contribute to sales targets.
• Capacity for rapid learning and development of in-depth product knowledge across R.M.Williams fashion, footwear, and accessories.
• Excellent communication skills for interactions with customers, managers, and colleagues.
