About the Role
This position involves managing the branch reception area and performing associated tasks, maintaining office facilities for a clean and professional appearance, and carrying out general administrative duties to support branch operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the branch reception area and perform associated administrative tasks.
- Provide friendly and professional service as the first point of contact for branch visitors, phone calls, and general enquiries.
- Maintain a clean and safe reception and office area.
- Timely collation and processing of all branch documentation, including timesheets, Take 5, pre-starts, and job sheets.
- Timely co-ordination, validation, and processing of purchase orders, client and supplier invoicing, and site access requirements.
- Maintain branch compliance and training records.
- Maintain the branch personnel roster in co-ordination with the Workshop Supervisor, Project Manager, and Branch Manager.
- Organise all travel and accommodation bookings for relevant branch personnel.
- Assist with booking branch personnel training and medical requirements.
- Provide support to the Rental Coordinator and/or Service Administrator roles in line with operational requirements or providing coverage for when the employee is on leave.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and champion the NPE brand.
- Undertake other duties as directed by your supervisor.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional organisation and planning skills with strong adherence to deadlines
- Patient, flexible, and adaptable to changing and challenging circumstances
- Great problem-solving ability and the capacity to work well under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised or with limited direction
- A high level of discretion and professionalism to act with integrity and always maintain confidentiality
- Microsoft Office Suite skills
Desirable:
- Experience in Rental, Mining, or Construction Industries (or similar)
- Certificate III in Business Administration (or similar)
