About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Branch All Rounder to support our Townsville branch. This is a varied role where each day presents new opportunities to provide exceptional customer service to our clients, both within the branch and through on-site deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders, including the preparation of courier and transport documentation.
• Receipting and storing goods according to established procedures.
• Receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming goods.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the warehouse area.
• Providing sales-focused customer service at the trade counter and over the phone, alongside delivering outstanding customer service.
• Delivering customer orders.
• Operating forklifts and machinery for the movement of goods.
• Utilising computer software for stock code location, purchase order checking, back order tracking, and monitoring stock movements and transfers.
• Collaborating with the sales and operations teams to ensure the timely collection of products and services.
• Assisting the Branch Manager with periodic stock checks.
• Ensuring the branch maintains a high standard of presentation.

About You:

You will ideally possess demonstrated experience in customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment. In addition to these areas of experience, you will:

• Be highly motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the building and construction industry would be an asset.
• Demonstrate a strong motivation to consistently exceed customer expectations, support company initiatives, and become a valued member of our team.
• Hold a current forklift licence.
• Possess a valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Exhibit a positive and enthusiastic attitude, coupled with a strong work ethic.
• Be well-presented, self-motivated, and willing to learn and develop new skills.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Act as a willing and productive team member.
