Location: Burwood East Work Type: Full-time Salary: $73,029 per annum plus 12% superannuation Work Arrangement: Hybrid

About the Role

Two new permanent positions for experienced, proactive, and highly organised Business Support Officers are available within the Infrastructure Services/Fleet Services team. These roles offer flexible work locations for successful candidates.

In these key positions, you will contribute to the smooth running of operations by providing high-quality administrative and business support to a busy, collaborative team. Responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, involve building strong stakeholder relationships, and support the delivery of essential services for CFA operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, delivering professional customer service with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Providing efficient administrative support, managing competing priorities, and ensuring timely responses to business requirements.
  • Preparing, coordinating, and maintaining reports, records, and documentation.
  • Supporting administrative staff, coordinating workloads, and ensuring effective resource allocation to meet business objectives.
  • Processing purchase orders and other basic financial transactions in line with CFA policies and procedures.
  • Providing secretariat support for meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking actions.
  • Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external clients to ensure responsive and professional service delivery.
  • Coordinating meetings, catering, scheduling, and administrative processes to facilitate the team’s smooth operation.

About You

The successful applicant will be a proactive, highly organised, and experienced administrator with a demonstrated capacity to succeed within a large and complex organisation. You will be a collaborative team member possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

You will take pride in delivering a professional, high-quality administrative service, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, robust organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your ability to source, analyse, and present information in professional reports and documentation will be well-developed. Experience with SAP HANA reporting processes will be highly regarded. A full driver’s licence is required, as you may be required to travel to regional CFA workshops. A CFA pool car is available for this purpose.
