What You'll Do

As an Athlete Advisor at our new flagship sportswear store in Chadstone, you will be the face of Wilson, representing our brand to customers and the community. Your role involves creating an exceptional athlete experience by educating customers on our performance sportswear and hardgoods. You will foster a welcoming and inclusive space for play and learning within the store.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Delivering exceptional athlete experiences.
• Handling cash and processing register transactions.
• Managing inventory.
• Replenishing sales floor items.
• Conducting regular floor walks to ensure store cleanliness, including cleaning and tidying throughout the day.
• Supporting store projects and brand initiatives.
• Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge on the latest equipment and sportswear.
• Merchandising the store to facilitate ease of shopping, education, and aesthetic appeal.
• Maintaining open and transparent communication with your team and store leadership.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a sales, retail, or customer service environment is required.
• A fondness for our products, particularly tennis apparel and racquets, is well regarded.
• Availability during the week, approximately 15 hours, including evening hours.
• A passion for delivering an exceptional consumer experience daily.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with people and a desire to address the needs of every athlete who visits the store.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• A drive for autonomy and success in an entrepreneurial setting.
• An appreciation for bold ideas and a pursuit of progress.
• The ability to stand by convictions with integrity and respect in all situations.
