St Vincent de Paul Society is seeking Casual Retail Assistants for its Vinnies stores in Canberra ACT. These onsite positions offer flexible casual opportunities.
About the Role Join our friendly team at the Kippax and Queanbeyan Retail Centres. You will contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable shopping experience for customers. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing donations, creating displays, and maintaining store presentation. Every sale supports vital community programs.
These casual roles require availability across weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Queanbeyan position requires a minimum of 18 hours per fortnight, while the Kippax position requires a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight.
What We're Looking For We are looking for individuals with a positive, can-do attitude who are reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to engage in various tasks. You should take pride in your work, adapt to changing priorities, and enjoy contributing to a purpose-driven organisation.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a National Police Check and hold, or obtain, a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card upon commencement.
