Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Retail Consultant to join our Innaloo store team. This role is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service by offering personalised experiences, understanding customer needs, and recommending suitable items. The position also involves achieving sales targets and Store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates, customer service scores, and average transaction value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate items.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to describe features and benefits accurately.
• Upsell and cross-sell where suitable, informing customers about sales and promotions.
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrate company values in all customer interactions.
• Ensure store presentation adheres to Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines.
• Address, resolve, or escalate customer concerns promptly and appropriately.

Candidate Profile: We are looking for someone who enjoys retail and its intricacies, understands the customer journey, and can help bring a customer's vision to life. Teamwork is valued, as is success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. A proactive approach and an appreciation for authenticity are key.

Requirements for Success:

• At least 2 years of retail experience in home/lifestyle products is preferred.
• Ability to engage with customers to realise their home vision.
• An "I've got this" attitude towards selling and exceeding sales targets.
• Exceptional communication skills and computer literacy.
• Capacity to manage both customer care and administrative tasks.
• A genuine interest in home styling, furniture, or creating welcoming living spaces is a plus.

• As this is a furniture store, the role requires regular manual handling of products, including lifting, carrying, and moving items of various sizes. Applicants must be physically capable of performing these tasks safely as part of their daily duties.
