The Role

As a Casual Sales Assistant at JD Sports, your primary focus is providing exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable shopping experience and build lasting brand loyalty. You will be energetic, genuine, and customer-focused, offering personalised assistance to customers seeking the best products and leading brands.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a brand ambassador with a positive and professional demeanour.
• Acquiring and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Delivering personalised one-on-one customer service.
• Assisting customers with inquiries and processing sales.
• Collaborating with management and the store team to meet KPIs and targets.
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks, including visual merchandising setup, store cleanliness, and presentation.
• Escalating customer complaints to management.
• Completing mandatory training related to product, policy, and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar industry.
• The ability to provide excellent service and go above and beyond.
• Passion for sports fashion or knowledge of key brands.
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Enthusiasm for overcoming challenges and acquiring new skills.
• Strong communication skills, with a preference for engagement with customers and teamwork.
• Ability to multitask.
• Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as dictated by store requirements.
