The Role

As a Casual Sales Assistant at JD Sports, your primary focus is delivering exceptional customer service to create memorable shopping experiences and foster lasting brand connections. You will be energetic, genuine, and customer-focused, providing personalised assistance to customers seeking our best products and biggest brands.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a brand ambassador, demonstrating positivity and professionalism.
• Gaining and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Providing personalised one-on-one customer service.
• Assisting customers with inquiries and processing sales.
• Collaborating with management and the store team to achieve KPIs and targets.
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks, such as visual merchandising setup, store cleanliness, and presentation.
• Escalating customer complaints to management.
• Consistently completing mandatory training related to product, policy, and procedures.

• Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar industry.
• The ability to provide excellent service and go above and beyond.
• A passion for sports fashion or knowledge of key brands.
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as dictated by store needs.
